Transdev is accelerating its commitment to zero-emission public transport with a £7.5 million order for 15 new Mercedes-Benz E-Citaro electric buses, set to convert the Shuttle route between Keighley and Bradford to full electric operation. Supported by £3.1 million from the Government’s ZEBRA funding, this initiative aligns with Bradford’s Clean Air Zone targets and builds on successful trials and community feedback to provide cleaner, quieter travel. With an expected launch by next year, this investment will improve air quality and support West Yorkshire’s net-zero ambitions by 2038, further demonstrating Transdev’s dedication to sustainable transport in the region.
